These terms cover your use of the SemantiNote application and this website. By downloading or using SemantiNote, you agree to them. Plain-language summary below; please read the full terms.
SemantiNote grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control. A purchased product key unlocks the Pro features for you on your device(s). You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your product key.
The notebook, voice dictation, keyword search, and viewing existing secrets are free. The AI features (chat, summaries, semantic search), meeting recording, and adding new secrets are free during a 14-day trial, after which they require a one-time Pro product key. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Everything you create with SemantiNote is yours. It stays on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for backing up your own data. We have no access to it and cannot recover it for you.
Don't use SemantiNote for anything unlawful, and don't attempt to reverse-engineer the licensing, circumvent the trial, or redistribute the software or keys. The bundled open-source AI components remain under their own licences.
SemantiNote is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI output can be inaccurate — verify anything important. You use the app at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
